Update January 2010
The aviation museum failed to reach V1* due to badly deteriorating economic conditions at at time when funding was needed the most. The Marietta History Museum is now the new backer for this project. More to come.

*V2, also known as Rotation.

It is the speed that is needed for an aircraft to become and remain airborne.
