The Film Vault
This page contains downloadable films of the *Specialists* missions going way back to 1998. To view these films requires the game client. I can point you in the right direction to download them for free (see below) in order to view our missions.
These films contain every minute of flight footage and they include the actual cockpit voice recordings of our de-classified missions.
One of the best features of both Air Warrior and Aces High is the ability to record flights and play them back later. A wide range of viewing angles are available including cockpit, external, chase plane and others. Perhaps the best feature is the ability to join up and ride in any of the other aircraft that are also being recorded in the film. Just double click that pilots name in the list. You can learn a lot about your own piloting skills, those of the enemy, and, you can slow down the film to any speed.
Film playback rates range from Pause to 2X in 0.5 second increments. A 2.5MB film represents about 25 to 30 minutes of flight time.
If you already have Aces High 2 loaded, then just download these films and double click to run them. In order to view the films, you need to install the Aces High II game.
The viewer comes with the game. You will need to download the entire game to get to
the viewer.
Films can be viewed in offline
mode. You don't need to sign up
for anything to view these. Each film
with have a .AHF file extension.
This stands for Aces High Film. The films are a continuous recording of each squad night. The action picks up on the next film where it left off on the last film. Typically there is at least an hour of squad night if not more. The mission objective is always filmed.
