OK men...

 

I am pretty well recovered from my knee surgery, and life is returning to normal at the Joker household.

 

So...

 

Tonight is going to be Bomber night!

 

Specifically....it's going to be "Mighty Eighth" night since we will be flying formations of

B-17's escorted by our capable P-51D pilots.

 

The plan will be to attack a field near the knight front and close it. 

If the situation permits the escorts will be allowed to attack targets

of opportunity as the B-17's RTB.

Depending on our degree of success and the situation we will go for a capture.

 

I'm thinking we will require 4 sets of bombers if the target is a small field,

with the rest of us in P-51's.

I am gong to switch up and ask MILT to lead the buffs this week and I will fly

escort.

 

Be sure to have your new fuze-maps handy as they will be needed for target assignment.

 

Takeoff at 9 eastern.

Target and load-outs will be called on the radio prior to launch.
