Titanic Tuesday's Titanic B17 Strike

Hello Specialists,
This Tuesday in Titanic Tuesday arena had a B17 mission in store for us. Bishops had more numbers but was tough finding a base to use and important targets to hit, maybe I should have gone all strategic and went after factories but that's another Tuesday. Rook did have a couple airfields on our home turf so that was the target. Fairly far away, at least 3 diagonal sectors away, we did have a 4k base that could give us an initial altitude assist. We loaded up at least 7 groups of B17s with 50% fuel and a bakers dozen of eggs, 500lb eggs. We took-off and dodged a mountain and climbed northwest to line up on A96 and A92, small and medium fields respectively. As the climb to cruise altitude continued we formed up and got the formation nice and tight. Initial targets were also assigned with the plan to destroy every fighter, bomber and vehicle hangers on the two airfields. A96 was under attack already on on climb-out it was captured so we diverted to A92 with a turn to the right and course 000, due north.  We would over-fly 96 then turn NE and run up the coast. Final targets were assigned and salvo /delay were set. After dropping many hangers at 92, we extended a little and made a turn around to the left to finish the remaining hangers. We did spread out a little on that turn and that's when a few enemy fighters attacked. Joker was attacked pretty hard but did manage to down two of them. A few of us had eggs remaining due to the fact we didn't drop on both 96 and 92 so that small group made another left turn for a 3rd pass over 92 I turned and accompanied RTS for the 3rd pass to help cover him if I could. I ran into a N1K2 while inbound and he settled down behind me for an easy kill. RTS dropped and we headed southwest to land with the main body. A 190A8 pressed an attack on me outbound and I managed to shoot him down with no rudder and a leaking fuel tank. It was Vlkyrie who if I'm not mistaken used to be an old Spec, Mr S.
The group taxied to the main pad and shut 'em down with Joker and myself landing two kills each. As mentioned all hangers at 92 were destroyed, 7 in total.
