A short After Action Report for 13 November 2007,

We flew in the MidWar / Purple arena because Orange was full and Blue was closed and decided to fly up morth and maybe take a Vbase. We were going to takeoff from A11 and climb a little, targets were V43 and V44. Takeoff base was changed to A10 because it's altitude was 3.5k and we tookoff NE and headed out to V43 in a mix of heavy P-38Js, Bf 110s and F6F. We came into V43 @10k alt and started the attack.
Two vehicle hangers were hit pretty fast and the third was eventyally straffed enough to destroy it. An M-16 and Flak had spawned and they were also destroyed. We brought in the first killed/second wave with heavy fighters and a goon using a closer base this hop, A13. There was at least one enemy fighter that tried to defend and our goon had some geographic disturbances and was unable to fly to V43 but another Knight was there and dropping troops. V43 was captured relatively easily and we shifted our attack NE to V44, here's where it got interesting.
Enemy strength in the area started to increase. At least one vehicle tried to close on V43, a few vehicles spawned at V44 to defend and few fighters were in the area. Not as crrisply as was done at V43 but V44s vehicles were destroyed and the remaining defenders were shot down. An M3 was summoned but time was critical, and short. Before the M3 arrived a vehicle hanger came back up and an Il-2 wandered in to defend. The Il-2 was dispatched and no enemy vehicles had come out to defend. Joker closed on the field and when he was close, he stopped the M3 and let the troops out. Still no defense and the troopers destroyed the maproom for the capture.
By this time the enemy strength grew south of us over A14 so we tookoff there and mounted a defense. Enemy fighers and bombers were coming in around 10k and we engaged them in fighters of choice, even a vehicle or two.
By the end of Operations another Knight had snuck a goon to V41 and that was captured. We held onto V43, V44 and A14. All in all a good night.

<S> the effort, hope you had fun.
