Some nights it all just comes
together. While we always have a
good night and plenty of fun
together, there is always at least
one *Specialist* that is honed on
target. They rack up kill after
kill., That is when we cover them
for the return to base if
possible. This game (if that is
what you really want to call it)
always had a high learning curve.
Just getting to target can be a
challenge. After a 45 minute
productive flight you don't want
to crack up your plane on landing.
That usually doesn't happen when
your on a roll in there.
Invincibility defines it better.
The reward for landing them is a
system wide announcement of who
landed how many in which type of
place and for which squadron. Each
night, aces can be seen landing
7-8 kills. Some in planes that are
the toughest to fly or have
limited ammo loads. Aircraft that
lack good visibility out the
windows add to the level of
difficulty.
RTS had a night like that on 11
April 2006. He didn't leave much
for the rest of us to clean
up...which is fine with us.

WTG RTS!

RTS penetrating a massive
ainti-aircraft barrage as he
screams towards the deck to unload
2 thousand pounders. The ship
immediately started turning stern
up and the bow began heading
towards the abyss. The ship went
completely vertical before going
straight down to the bottom.

the view in close enough on an
aircraft while it is firing, the
gun shell casings can be seen
peeling away. The game has gone a
long way in 10 years. Imagine what
it will be like in another decade.
