Hello Gentlemen:

<VBG> My computer flies once more. I would like to run Fuze’s convergence training next week if he’s willing. It’s my fault we didn’t run it last night- I honestly didn’t think I was going to be there, so when the game actually worked, I couldn’t remember all of the details of your email- even though as usual, you were very specific. My apologies Fuze. Last night, as Joker succinctly puts it- we kicked the Hornet’s nest. Actually, we took a flame thrower to it. Or perhaps a can of WD-40 and a lighter. Whatever the comparison is, we left damage, large fires and destruction in our wake. We upped at A142 in heavy P-47-N’s, loaded for bear- bomb and rockets, lots of gas. Ditto provided cover in a 262, and SKu in a P-51. We approached our target, Rook held A108, and managed to get over the base at 15K without and prior “enemy entanglements.” (Yes, that’s another Star Wars reference Seal J ) Radar and ordinance were the primary targets, but pretty soon, the whole place was on fire…. And the Rooks decided to wake up. I think RTS and Ditto were the only ones to make it back. Congrats to Ditto on his Tempest kill! Not many made it back, but the majority of the ordinance we dropped was right on target. Not sure where they came from, but the AK’s showed up and wreaked havoc on 108 in-between our bomb runs. Always good to have someone like AKDG and his group flying fighters in the area (when they’re Knights at least), and AKPepper (How do they get chicks to fly with them?) was keeping the skies near A108 clear. They showed up around our third sortie I guess, and it was great to have them around. We never did get 108, but we certainly kept them busy. All in all, a very fun night. After it became clear we weren’t going to get 108, we flew base defense for A124 that was under attack from a Rook CV group. We loaded up some heavy fighters and flat out pummeled the CV group. Multiple hits were scored, but I believe Engr got the CV and the battleship! WTG ENGR! Special thanks to Joker for the image of the OPS map from last night. I still haven’t figured that out completely, and I appreciate the help! Spec’s in attendance: Joker, Swoose, Seal, RTS, SKu, Ditto, Engr, Luft, and myself. All in all, a great turnout! Thanks to all that flew, and we hope to see you all back next week. Also attached, the picture that inspired last night’s plane of choice. milt

*** Luft Webmaster note: if I try to paste the text from Gmail (above) it comes out crap!

Below is a screenshot of the excellent work & effort Milt put into this.
It looks like I will need to do the same by adding some editing. I thought I

would have figured out a way around it already. Thanks Milt <S>
